We hired Chef Andrew to cook a three course Sunday lunch for us and our four friends and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the quality of the ingredients, the beauty of the presentation and the exceptional flavours.
Andrew specialises in local seasonal produce and whilst being French trained he adds his own style and twist by incorporating Asian influences.
As a canapé we were served Asian style beef tartare, gochujang dressing, Japanese spiced crispy polenta and that set the standard for the exceptional meal that followed:
Handmade crab claw cappelletti, torched crab claw, shellfish bisque, chilli oil, caviar
Spring lamb, lamb neck croquette, pea ragu tart, crispy fingerling potatoes, wild garlic puré, lamb jus
Lemon yuzu posset, biscuit soil, fresh berries. chocolate curls
We dined at the “Chef’s table” so watching Andrew pull everything together was an added bonus. He is very affable and our guests loved him and his food, indeed one of them asked him to cater a function for her the following week.
